From December 14 to 15, 2019, at the 32nd Annual Academic Conference of the Chinese Society of Education held in Jinan, Shandong Province. The Wenhui Award for Educational Innovation 2019 for Asia Pacific area was awarded.
FABLAB O|中国“数制”工坊项目成为2019年文晖奖荣誉奖得主。 Fablab O’s project has become the winner of the 2019 Wenhui award.
As the only winner in China, FABLAB O won the UNESCO Wenhui Award for Educational Innovation 2019.Professor Ding Junfeng received the award on behalf of the FABO team and made a keynote speech at the Wenhui award sub forum. The project has become the winner of the 2019 Wenhui award.
The Wenhui Award embodies two important elements of educational innovation. Wen (文) refers to all facets of civilization and culture, including wisdom, knowledge, moral and ethics, and encompasses the desire for learning and inquiry. Hui (晖) symbolizes the creative and radiant force of education that allows civilization and culture to flourish. Taken together, the Wenhui Award personifies the power of education in promoting learning and allowing individuals and cultures to innovate and grow.
The Wenhui Award for Educational Innovation, established by the National Commission of the People’s Republic of China for UNESCO, aims to recognize the contributions of educators and institutions which have optimized the potential of education and the human innovative spirit to address and resolve pressing issues and problems facing our world today.
FABLAB O|中国“数制”工坊(简称FABO)诞生于同济大学设计创意学院(全球QS排名14,亚洲第一),创始人丁峻峰教授哈佛大学毕业后在同济任教,于2013年率先引入了源自MIT的Fablab课程和实验室到中国,并且在六年的时间里面结合哈佛、MIT、同济等顶尖学术资源,在中国落地了Global FAB Academy |全球数制学术、Global Bio Academy | 全球生物学术、Global Fabric Academy | 全球织造学术课程,并且创立FABO品牌,自主研发了适合中国文化和学生的FABO Academy X |中国智造学术、FABO Playground | 中国数制乐园课程体系。
课程体系覆盖小学、初中、高中、职业院校、大学和成人全年龄段。2019年,中国“数制”工坊“FABO Academy X | 中国智造学术X”被Fab Foundation作为全球第一个和唯一一个被正式授权和落地中国的课程,标志着FABO在教师培训、线上线下双师课程等和Fab Foundation达成全面合作。
Fablab O |中国“数制”工坊创始人、同济大学设计创意学院副教授丁峻峰向大家介绍了FABO课程基于联合国可持续发展目标(Sustainable Development Goals ) ,引导学生在真实的世界中找到可持续的命题及解决方案。FABO STEAM教学系统将设计思维融入到真实问题的解决过程中,使学生主动学习,培养跨学科综合迁移实践解决真实世界的能力, 激发学生自主创新和主动性学习的欲望,并促进学生的社会责任心,同理心,演讲能力等综合素养的全面提升。一套STEAM教育的系统课程,以设计思维(Design Thinking)为核心逻辑、项目式学习(Project Based Learning)为主要教学方式,将绘画、音乐、人文同3D打印、镭射切割、人工智能、VR&AR等前沿技术有机融合,为开拓 “做中学|Learning by Doing”的实践内容找到了一个完整解决的方案。丁峻峰老师在“如何在校外建设一个适合你的Fablab实验室和STEAM课程”这一工作坊中,就如何利用B端资源引导C端搭建FABLAB STEAM课程系统进行讨论,其中包含了对实验室空间营建和设备配套、课程内容以及经营的等焦点问题展开探讨。就品牌经营与课程合作两种合作模式和大家做了进一步解释,大家希望借助FABO平台、建构一种全球背景下落地国内的双师创新合作模式、为拓展C端合作提出了解决方案。
人工智能专家、曾任哈佛大学设计学院副教授、现任同济大学设计创意学院教授Kostas Terzidis介绍了Meta-Design的概念,为大家展示了人工智能在少儿教育中的应用。人工智能时代中各类复杂问题都可以在硬件与软件的升级基础上经过学习和计算,对解决策略进行枚举与比较。Meta,the thing of the thing。Kostas教授通过一系列实际用例展现STEAM教育中,利用“Meta”的概念鼓励学生根据问题迭代式地运用工具创造工具得到优化解决方案的思维。学生在各类复杂问题面前通过具体语境及人文、历史、潮流等因素筛选出当下最好的方案,这才是人工智能在STEAM教育中应用的关键。
