问:学校课程设置情况如何?
学校基础课程约占课程总量60%,创新实践课程约占课程总量40%。其中40%的创新课程中,有一大部分由Fablab O | 中国“数制”工坊研发的FABO Academy X课程体系承担。基础课程主要为目前高中普遍实施的教学科目;创新实践课程主要是通过项目制的学习,提高学生解决实际问题的综合素养,同时通过项目中对基础课程中重要知识点的串联,帮助学生加深理解。
有多少人向往去哈佛读心理学、去沃顿商学院读管理、去麻省理工读电子工程,终因梦想未果而饮恨?大型开放式网络课程(massive open online courses, MOOC)慕课的到来,将人们的梦想照进了现实。坐在大洋彼岸即可聆听学界大牛的谆谆教诲,依靠网络通信工具即可与志趣相投的同学讨论课题,足不出户即可得到世界顶级院校的课程认证。人们开始怀疑,既然互联网让知识触手可及,那么学校还有存在的意义吗?
即将于2017年9月开学的上海市同济黄浦设计创意中学就是一座以设计思维教育为导向,以国际上最适合设计创新教育的PBL(Project Based Learning)为教学法,将强调知识输出的基础型课程与强调体验式学习的创新型课程相结合的教育平台。在同济黄浦设计创意中学,学生将成为教学的中心,教师将不再以教练或是裁判员的姿态对学生进行简单粗暴的知识输出和成绩评判,而是作为陪伴者,通过引导式、启发式教育参与到学生的日常学习和生活实践中。
Fab Academy is a distributed educational model providing a unique educational experience. Each Fab Lab that participates in the Fab Academy program is part of a global Fab Lab / Fab Academy network. These Fab Labs are Nodes that offer the Fab Academy program. Students view and participate in global lectures broadcasted every Wednesdays at 9:00 am – 12:00 pm EST. The lectures are recorded and available to students throughout the semester. In addition to the lectures, there are 2/3 lab days each week where students have access the digital fabrication equipment and personal help with projects. Fab Academy faculty, who are leaders in their respective fields, provide global video lectures, supervise academic content, and guide research. Hands-on instruction in the labs is provided by instructors who supervise and evaluate Certificates, develop and disseminate instructional material, and assist with projects.
The Fab Academy Program is directed by Neil Gershenfeld, director of the Center for Bits and Atoms at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and globally coordinated by Fab Lab Barcelona team.

FABO X ACADEMY “智造”学术X
Fablab O Shanghai’s “FABO X Academy China”, is a modular course about digital manufacturing and rapid prototyping. The course is based on MIT’s “How to Make (Almost) Anything” course and the Fab Academy global seminar. Fablab O has been iterating its Fabo X Academy for many years through experience teaching collaborations with schools and universities, cooperating with institutions implementing fab labs, its Fabo X Academy one week seminar, hosting digital fabrication competitions, and numerous symposiums. The Summer Bootcamp is geared toward students desiring to understand, experience and improve their implementation of STEAM related activities in teaching practices.
Fablab O | 中国“数制”工坊的“FABO X Academy China / 中国智造学术X”是一个数字化制造及快速成型技术的课程。该课程基于麻省理工学院“How to Make (Almost) Anything / 如何智造万物”课程和Fab Academy的全球课程。 Fablab O通过与全球其他fablab以及各高校合作的经验,还有主办数字化制造竞赛和众多的研讨会,一直在更新迭代“中国智造学术X”的课程。

Bio Academany意在将生物知识开源,为创客提供一个开源平台让他们发展自己感兴趣的项目。在本课程创客将学习到DNA纳米结构,下一代生物合成,生物生产设计,基因工程,基因荧光序列,3D生物打印,自动化以及开源硬件。

Further, he is a researcher at Tongji University of Shanghai,developing STEAM education and outreach in a number schools and universitiesthroughout Eastern China. DlshuBot, a self-learning robot that paints Chinesecalligraphy in water (featured in the 2017 Bay Area Maker Faire) and PureImagination, plant fed microbial fuel cells that will power our homes and muchmore.

Erik Zepka (加拿大)
Learn the basic principles of bioplastic creation with Erik Zepka,artist and scientist with a background in both biology and aestheticfabrication. Using common, everydaymaterials, extracts from foods, organic chemicals and a little heat, Zepka willteach the basics of plastic cross-linking and how the majority of our productsare created. With an eye tosustainability, workshop students will then be encouraged to play around withthese principles to create their own plastic mixture, using science basics toinnovate both formally and materially.
二零一七年的双十二之际,除了马爸爸在他的购物帝国之中为复制性产品的销量节节攀升大为欢喜外,还有一群代表着未来的人为自己的智造成果感到颇为自豪,那就是我们上海科技大学的FABO Academy X的首批学生,也是FABO Academy X课程在中国高校的第一批学生。为期8周的课程结束后,迎来了令人激动人心的自由创作成果展,即FABO Academy X终极项目路演。
路演当天,Fablab O-Shanghai的创始人丁峻峰教授也特地赶到现场,观看了同学们的整场路演!他对同学们的最终作品呈现甚为惊喜,没想到大家能在短短的两、三周内完成这么多功能的互动型智能作品,看得出来大家课后花了不少心思。但这样的锻炼对于大家未来的发展还是很有益处的,随着MIT Fab Academy课程在全球的逐渐开花,这套智造体系的课程一定会给大家打开一闪通往未来的大门,而越早接触到这样的特殊资源与内容,在未来社会占据有利地位的可能性更大 ! 虽然这期课程结束了,但希望这些知识可以让大家真正受益,并运用于实践之中。同时,MIT Fab Acamdemy 体系下更高阶的课程也为大家敞开大门,只要你感兴趣,用于挑战,还可以继续和我们一起走进未来!

经过8周的学习,Fablab O Academy X(基于麻省理工学院的How To Make Almost Anything(HTGAA)课程和Fab Academy 全球课程独立开发的数字制造和快速成型课程)的第一个高校试点课程已进入最终验收阶段。助教Goby.G老师在Final Project的头脑风暴工作坊中用ipad实时记录下同学们的创作思路:
