课程简介

《星际日记》是一门让孩子们将编程,3D打印等未来科技,融合到个性定制一本用于宣传“气候变化”主题日记的课程。通过触觉、视觉和感官的探索,学生们将创作一本独特的星球探索日记:通过材料、形状和结构来呈现故事叙事。

The star lagecy is a course for children to explore beyond text and imagery what a book means. Through tactile, visual and sensori-al exploration, students will create a series of books that opens up new narratives through materials, shapes and structures.

课程亮点

该课程旨在引导学生通过四个阶段分享一个主题:书籍。通过实验刺激想象力、生物材料、数字制造,通过纸质电路介绍电子产品、设计思维、自我表达、用材料表达、书籍制作。

The general structure of the course aims to guide students through a four stages process sharing a common theme: books.Stimulation of fantasy through experimentation, materials experimen-tation, digital fabrication,electronics throughpaper circuits, Design thinking,self-expression, Narratives throughmaterials, Book making.

在本课程中,你将学习到如下跨学科知识和能力:视觉传达,材料实验,设计,2D设计,激光切割,电子电路,3D设计,3D打印 ;通过实验刺激想象力,生物材料,数 字制造,通过纸质电路介绍电子产品,设计思维,自我表达,用材料表达,书籍制作。

课程内容安排

第一天

探索并实验如何造纸。
Explorationof nature and science and hands on skills.

通过回收方式制作生物材料。
The first part students will learn how to recycle plastics to create a new materialsheet.

第二天

熔化再生塑料。我们将使用这种材料进行书籍封面的原型设计。
Fused Recycled Plastic.We will use thismaterial for the prototyping of abook cover.

尝试做第一个“明胶生物塑料板”。
We will experiment doing our first “gelatin bioplastic sheet”.

第三天

对基础电路、数字绘图和镭射切割进行介绍。
An introduction to basic electronic circuits, digital drawing and laser cutting.

结合矢量绘图,激光切割和集成纸张电路来制作纸 质雕塑。
Combine vector drawing, laser cutting and the integration of paper circuits to create a paper sculpture.

第四天

组成,结构和卷。学习3D建模,用3D打印元素创建 3D维度封面。
Composition, structure and volume. Students will be introduced to 3D model-ling for the creation of a 3Dimensional cover using 3D printed elements.

设计一个有小图案并组成风景的小册子,设计一个3D模型用于书的封面。
Design a small booklet that has layers and compose a landscape.

第五天

构思和制作不可读的书。设计一个3D元素添加到书中。
Create the unreadable book and design a 3D element to add into their book.

完成作品后在课上介绍背后的想法,交换书籍,分享想法,并从导师那里获得反馈。
Present the work in lesson explaining what’s the idea behind, exchange books, share ideas and thoughts and get feedback from mentors.
