Fab Lab在同济的安家落户和茁壮成长,与设计创意学院兼容并包、充满活力的风格交相辉映,为设创注入了新鲜血液。Fab Lab源自MIT的比特原子实验室,最初利用实验室丰富的制造设备和仪器,加以天马行空的想象力和超乎想象的创造力,创造出在现实生活中可以发挥作用的系统。
Fab Lab作为分布式教育系统,呈现了二十一世纪全新的教育理论方法。实验室之间互相合作、共享资源,获得本地无法获取的资源。现在已经在全球建立了实验室网络,目前已经覆盖120个国家,2000多个实验室。不仅有创新,还有创业,一些产品成果经过众筹,已经在市场上获得了充分的经济机遇。比如Fabericademy,教学内容包括数字制造、生物制造、电子设计。同时,针对不同的年龄层次、职业背景有不同的课程。

In this course, students will explore our planet from the perspective of observers, study the living conditions of animals and plants, feel the invisible natural forces, understand the current pollution problems, and think about how to protect the earth and improve the living conditions of organisms.
The African expedition group departs! This course is divided into 5 expedition teams to study the unique animals and plants on different territories of the African continent. Through learning circuit knowledge and sensors, mixly modular programming language and the latest digital manufacturing skills, small bionic robots imitating African creatures and corresponding topography are produced, and the robots interact with the surrounding environment.
You are going to become the hero/heroine of peace and justice that protects our city against disasters brought by the evil enemy! This course focuses on both traditional artistic techniques and digital fabricating technology to create personalized wearable pieces. Each project student creates will solve one of the problems raised up in the fictional story Little Hero(ine) League, a hero(ine) story told by the instructor at the beginning of each project.
In this workshop, we will explore the many possibilities and techniques related to wearable technology, using 3D scanning and 3D printing to digitize and modify our own body, electronic sensors to record data about our life functions and physical programming to design and fabricate a wearable prototype taking into account its function and aesthetic.
Smart home connects various devices in the home (such as audio and video equipment, lighting system, curtain control, air conditioning control, security system, audio and video server, network appliances, etc.) together through Internet of Things (IOT) technology. Provide household appliances control, lighting control, telephone remote control, indoor and outdoor remote control, anti-theft alarm, environmental monitoring, and programmable timing control and other functions and means.
In this course, students will work together to complete a large-scale painting, using a self-created automatic plotter, to complete the combination of machine algorithm and human sensibility. Students will be exposed to Rhino2D and 3D modeling, 3D printing, laser cutting, machinery (including structure building, parts manufacturing, motors), Gcode, etc.

We can’t live without design, but how does design come from? In this 5-week course, you will be introduced To the light of design. “How To Make (Almost) Anything” uses the iPad as a visual design tool. During the process of brainstorming, creative design and intelligent prototyping, you will open the door of creative design and intelligent manufacturing.
The “Smart Manufacturing” module is based on FABO number manufacturing workshop, leading children to understand the use of various tools in the workshop. Maybe you were wondering what those weird tools on the wall were called. In five weeks, you’ll be a little craftsman. After all, workshop teacher’s assessment is very strict, did not pass the need to repair.
